SWIIS urgently requires mental health and learning disability support staff to work with children and young people in and around the West London area. Environments will include community and supported housing settings in the Ealing, Richmond, Hounslow and Hilingdon areas for short and long-term projects and ad hoc shifts.
The successful candidate must have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and have a good command of the English language. You must be a team player and able to work independently. A commitment to enhance the well-being of the service user must be paramount to the ethos of the support you provide which will also include personal care.
You will be offered the prospect of working varied shifts, including night and weekend work. However, for the purpose of registration you will be expected to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week and be available at times for short notice work.
SWIIS currently has a range of client groups who offer both full and part-time flexible hours, with opportunities to become part of a regular rota.
