PULSE is proud to be working with a leading independent hospital in South West London to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse – Scrub. The hospital covers over 40 different specialties including; orthopaedics, cardiology, general surgery and it boasts an impressive fertility unit.
The theatres department is run over 4 theatres along with an impressive endoscopy suite.
The successful applicant will have:
Requirements include First level registered Nurse, HPC registered ODP or equivalent
Solid and relevant post graduate experience
Experience in Orthopaedics and General Surgery
Flexibility
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Recovery practitioner to:
Maintain a high level of clinical practise
To take responsibility for own practise in accordance with clinical body and hospital guidelines/protocols
Care and responsibility for unconscious patients
Prepping patients efficiently in order for surgeons to operate
Working very closely with surgeons – some of which are well renowned experts in their field
To prevent risks to self, other staff or patients within the unit
Assist with the smooth running of the Theatre dept
To keep up to date with current procedures
To maintain accurate records
